Due to some miscommunication between our group and the teacher (Mr Reid) we mistakingly shot and filmed most of our main task during the christmas holidays when we in fact where supposed to shoot our preliminary task at that time. However after the christmas holidays in January when we found out about our mistake, we got together as a group and began to brainstorm on a new idea for our preliminary task. After our positions were assigned and the location, script and shooting schedule was completed we proceeded with filming.
The Preliminary Task was shot, edited and completed by the end of last week. We started and finished shooting on Wedsnesday 22nd Feburary 2012 (it didn't take long to film because of the fact that the task was supposed to be short). It was shot by me(Peniel), Dwayne and Jonathan. This was done at different times of the film because of the fact that me and Dwayne were slightly involved in the filming as actors. We then brought the film back into school with us on Thursday 23rd February and began editing then. We met up during our free time and asked Mr Ried if we could use the mac's for the editing, he allowed us to do so. The editing finished the following friday, this marked the end of the Preliminary Task.
